The I in AI isn’t “intelligence”

It’s pretty funny when someone in a completely different department also makes subtle, metaphorical references to El Jefe.

The conversation started this morning with a discussion about a project completely unrelated to El Jefe’s purview, though one which El Buttinsky has jumped into for no apparent reason. After I made a comment back to Josh, he just uncorked with ideas about El Jefe’s fondness of meetings and doling out action items or “AIs” :

AI reminder to send out additional AIs and color code them to make then slightly more confusing. A bit of patronizing undertones is preferable.

AI set superficial deadlines and put those on a chart somewhere.

AI make note of something to talk about at the staff meeting even though it adds nothing to the previous subject. Shameless self-promotion works best.

AI barge into a conversation that had nothing to do with one’s self prior while giving the impression that everyone wants to here what you have to say.
